Quality Control For additional quality control, each of the mechanical and electrical departments employs specific checklists to be followed during the design process. The checklists were created by the Principals of KTA to serve as a roadmap of possible pitfalls in the design process. These checklists force the design engineers to consider and address specific items of concern. In the event that an error or omission occurs in a design, the item of concern is added to the checklist to prevent the mistake from being repeated in future designs. These quality control procedures enable KTA to realize the goal that every Owner should pay for everything once and nothing twice.
