For clients who desire thorough assessments of their existing systems or who would like to determine the best option for future installations or modifications, we offer services for:

Surveys

We will visit your facility or facilities to collect information regarding your existing systems. We will meet with key maintenance personnel to glean information regarding existing maintenance problems and future plans for the facility. This information is compiled into a report that details the existing conditions, expected remaining useful lives, and recommended improvements or replacements for the existing systems. This information is accompanied by opinions of probable construction costs for all recommendations. KTA has performed these surveys, as required by the Kentucky Department of Education, for school systems across the Commonwealth. The information contained within the final reports help Owners to plan and prioritize future maintenance and system replacement projects.

Studies

The studies that KTA has provided for clients have covered a wide range of topics. No two studies are the same. Often, feasibility studies involve comparing two or more possible systems to replace an existing system. These studies will include descriptions of the configuration and requirements, implications, life-cycle costs, and opinions of probable construction costs for each system. The life-cycle costs will include maintenance and utility costs and possible pay-backs will be identified. All studies include final recommendations.

These studies prove beneficial to the Owner who is considering upgrading, replacing, or renovating existing systems, especially when new technologies are to be considered.
